Concrete
History
Apparently, it was built in 2003 as an easy way to develop a Lewis and Clark website coming out at the time. Also, the release of version 7 completely deprecated any earlier versions.
Requirements
I finally found some requirements, probably because this one is open-source. Concrete 9 requires PHP >= 7.3, a long list of PHP extensions, Apache/Nginx server, and MySQL/MariaDB >= 5.7.
Hosted/Self-hosted
Again, it’s open source, so this one is definitely self-hosted. However, like with WordPress, there is commercial hosting.
Cost
Commercial per month is either $4.99 or $19.
User Base
About 45,000 sites currently use it.
