At some point in the next couple of years, I decided that I wanted to start a YouTube channel just to post magic tricks and tutorials. I had been watching other channels for a while to learn my tricks, and I thought it would be fun to have a channel of my own. The only problem was that I had no way to set up a decent camera angle. Finally, I recieved a tripod for Christmas of 2017 which I use to either set up my phone or my camera to record. Therefore, on Christmas Day of 2017, I brought my tripod and phone to the basement, pulled out our card table, and recorded my first YouTube video. As for my channel name, I wanted to make it two words and include the word "magic," and I thought it would be fun to use alliteration, so my channel became "Magic Master." In addition, for my profile picture, I wanted to make my own, so I took a couple of cool-looking aces of spades and overlapped them in a line with my red desk as a background. It has changed once at some point, but it still uses the same concept.
As a side note, I thought it would just be interesting to use the first card trick I ever learned for my first video. Anyways, some of the videos I’ve uploaded include mostly tricks and tutorials, but I’ve also done decks reviews, Q&As, a giveaway, and a couple of collaborations (nothing too big, but they were still fun). For a while I uploaded every day, but over the years my uploads have become less and less frequent since life has continually gotten busier. However, at the time I am writing this sentence, I have 329 subscribers, and people like watching my videos even if they don’t come out that often.
